Weddings & Commitment

Your ceremony. Your beliefs. Your way.

Whatever you believe, whoever you are, wherever you’re standing—the ceremony gets built around you, not around a template. Nine ways this can look, and no default you have to justify.

What this covers

  • weddings
  • elopements
  • micro weddings
  • vow renewals
  • commitment ceremonies
  • Christian ceremonies
  • spiritual ceremonies
  • secular ceremonies
  • interfaith ceremonies
  • LGBTQ+ inclusive ceremonies
  • traditional ceremonies
  • unconventional ceremonies
  • fully customized ceremonies

Nine ways that can look

  • 01

    Christian ceremonies

Scripture, prayer, a blessing, communion, traditional vows—as much or as little as fits you. Faith can sit at the center of the ceremony, or be woven through it with room for everything else.

  • 02

    Spiritual ceremonies

For couples who feel that something bigger is in the room, without a specific tradition attached to it. Meaningful language, no doctrine required, and nothing said that you don't believe.

  • 03

    Secular ceremonies

No religion, no pretending. Your ceremony is built entirely from your story, your people, and the promises you're actually making to each other.

  • 04

    Interfaith ceremonies

Two traditions, one ceremony. We find the elements that matter to each of you—and to the families around you—and give them room to sit comfortably together.

  • 05

    LGBTQ+ inclusive ceremonies

Fully and without hesitation welcome. Your names, your pronouns, your story, your families—honored exactly as they are, with no asterisk anywhere near it.

  • 06

    Elopements

Just the two of you, or the two of you plus a witness or two. Small, unhurried, and no less real than a room full of people. Elopements start at $250.

  • 07

    Micro weddings

A short guest list with full-sized meaning. Ideal when you want the people who matter most in the room and nothing that doesn't need to be there.

  • 08

    Nontraditional ceremonies

No aisle, no processional, no idea what a wedding is “supposed” to look like. We build the shape of the ceremony from scratch, starting with what feels true to you.

  • 09

    Fully customized ceremonies

You bring the pieces you care about—readings, rituals, songs, jokes, in-jokes, vows. I help you arrange them into something that sounds like the two of you, out loud.

Tell me which of these sounds most like you.

Or tell me you’re not sure yet—that’s most couples. We’ll figure out the shape of it in the first conversation, and nothing is booked or committed by asking.

How faith fits

Faith can be part of your ceremony without taking over your ceremony.

For couples who want faith, Rev. Jonathan can incorporate Scripture, prayer, blessings, Christian traditions, communion, spiritual language, or other meaningful elements.

For couples who don’t want religion, that’s respected too.

The goal isn’t to make every ceremony look the same.

The goal is to make yours feel like yours.

Baptisms & Faith

A baptism can be deeply personal, deeply spiritual, and deeply memorable.

Whether it's an individual baptism or an entire family stepping into the water together, the ceremony can be created around the meaning behind the moment.

What this covers

  • freshwater baptisms
  • saltwater baptisms
  • individual baptisms
  • family baptisms
  • Christian blessings
  • personalized faith ceremonies

Release & Transition

Sometimes you need to mark the end of something before you can fully step into what comes next.

A release ceremony creates intentional space to acknowledge what you're leaving behind and recognize the beginning of a new chapter.

What this covers

  • release ceremonies
  • letting-go ceremonies
  • closure ceremonies
  • new-beginning ceremonies
  • life-transition ceremonies
  • personal transition rituals

Blessings & Spiritual Ceremonies

For the moments that call for something quieter.

A blessing can be spoken for a person, a family, a home, a new beginning, or a place that matters. Outdoors, near water, in a backyard, or wherever the moment belongs — built from your language, your people and whatever you hold sacred.

What this covers

  • personal blessings
  • family blessings
  • spiritual ceremonies
  • nature-based ceremonies
  • water-based ceremonies
  • personalized rituals

Memorials & Remembrance

Honoring someone you love, in a way that sounds like them.

A memorial ceremony, a celebration of life, or a family remembrance shaped around the stories, the people and the details that made that person who they were. Measured and unhurried, with room for faith, for laughter, and for silence.

Custom Ceremonies

Don't see your moment here?

Not every meaningful moment fits neatly into a category.

Tell me what you're trying to celebrate, honor, release, remember, or begin. We'll figure out what the ceremony should look like together.

Ceremony Consultation

Not sure what kind of ceremony you need? Start with a conversation.

Sometimes you know a moment deserves to be marked, but you don't know exactly what that should look like.

That's what the consultation is for.

We'll spend 60 minutes talking through your story, what you're celebrating, honoring, releasing, beginning, or remembering—and figure out what kind of ceremony might fit.

Ceremony Consultation — $75

60 minutes • Virtual or phone

We'll discuss:

  • Your story and what brought you here
  • What you want the ceremony to represent
  • The people who should be involved
  • The tone and atmosphere you want
  • Spiritual, religious, or secular elements
  • Location and logistics
  • Ceremony structure and meaningful traditions
  • What happens next

Your $75 consultation fee is credited in full toward Rev. Jonathan Arnold's ceremony/service fee when you book a ceremony within 30 days of the consultation.

The consultation credit applies only to Rev. Jonathan Arnold's ceremony/service fee. It does not apply to travel fees, rush or last-minute fees, venue fees, permits, third-party services, or other additional expenses.

The consultation fee is non-refundable once the consultation has taken place. If you decide not to book a ceremony, there is no additional obligation.

Pay the $75 online and Rev. Jonathan will email you to find a time — or, if you'd rather not pay before you've talked to anyone, tell him what you're planning through the inquiry form and he'll point you the right way.

Payment is taken on Stripe's own secure page. Card details are never entered on this website. No charge for that, and no obligation — if a consultation isn't what you need, Rev. Jonathan will say so and point you the right way.
