About

Hi, I'm Rev. Jonathan.

I've spent a lot of time helping people stand in meaningful moments.

I'm an ordained minister through the Universal Life Church, ordained September 18, 2024. I also bring more than 10 years of worship leadership, public speaking, storytelling, and experience leading and assisting in baptisms.

Worship leadership experience includes:

  • Living Word Bible Church — Mesa & Scottsdale, Arizona
  • Solid Foundation Bible Church — Queen Creek & Apache Junction, Arizona
  • Freedom Life Church — Cedar Park, Texas

Those years taught me how to communicate with a room, tell a story, connect with people, read the energy of a moment, and know when a moment needs words—and when it needs silence.

I've led and assisted in baptisms, including freshwater and saltwater settings, and have helped individuals and families participate in moments carrying real emotional and spiritual meaning.

Now I bring that experience beyond the traditional church setting.

That might mean standing beside a couple as they get married.

It might mean helping someone mark a baptism.

It might mean creating a ceremony around a transition, release, blessing, remembrance, or new beginning.

Sometimes the moment already has a name.

Sometimes it doesn't.

That's where the conversation starts.

I DON'T BELIEVE EVERY CEREMONY SHOULD LOOK THE SAME.

Some people want Scripture and prayer.

Some want something spiritual without a traditional religious structure.

Some want something completely secular.

Some want something intimate, unconventional, funny, deeply emotional—or all of the above.

I'm here to help create a ceremony that fits you and the moment you're marking, rather than forcing your moment into somebody else's template.

You bring the story. I'll help you tell it.

A LITTLE SERIOUS. A LITTLE SARCASTIC. COMPLETELY INVESTED.

I believe meaningful moments deserve to be taken seriously.

I just don't believe that means everything has to be stiff.

A ceremony can make you cry and make you laugh five minutes later.

It can honor tradition without feeling like a performance.

It can be spiritual without being preachy.

It can be meaningful without being overly formal.

And it should sound like the people standing in the middle of it.

Take the moment seriously. Don't take yourself too seriously.

Who’s standing with you

No mystery about who shows up on the day.

10+ Years Worship Leadership

Ordained through the Universal Life Church on September 18, 2024. Licensing requirements are set by the county where you get your license — I’ll help you work through the paperwork, and the clerk’s office has the final word.

The experience behind it: more than ten years of worship leadership, public speaking, storytelling, and leading and assisting in baptisms. Standing in front of people, reading a room, and finding the right words at the right moment is the part that carries over.

Helping people mark the moments that matter.

So...what moment are you trying to mark?

Maybe you’re getting married.

Maybe you’re beginning something new.

Maybe you’re letting something go.

Maybe you’re honoring someone you love.

Maybe you’re stepping into a moment that deserves to be remembered.

Whatever it is, we can start with a conversation.

Tell me the story.

We’ll figure out the ceremony from there.
